從大富翁到大博客

不過是一個名字。從紙版遊戲Monopoly 想到Bloglog-poly然後再縮短成 Blog-poly。中文就乾脆的譯作大博客或大部落，甚至是喚作網誌大亨也可以。
不過是一個遊戲。將大富翁的圖版比作網誌文化的生態環境，很好玩。在網路上搜尋回來形形色色的商標，放大或縮小，剪剪貼貼，構思的過程中叫自己學習和思考有關網誌文化的種種。將公司和企業替代了街道及地段，然而空格有限，要填充便得取捨，要選擇便得遺漏，最後揀了二十八個在博客之間曝光率較高的名字。在私人物業外又要有公共設施水力電力的代表，想到了創造共用和維基百科。罪犯當然想到Spammer，跟著免費停車場變了網頁寄存，再將命運和機會改成評論和引用，很好玩。就像用上了象徵和比喻，於我來說，跟寫一首詩沒有多大的分別。 圖版完成了。 |

Why not Blogopoly? Continues the convention set by its inspiration, Monopoly. Blogpoly sounds a little stuck in the middle, doesn’t flow as well.
Eh, just my thoughts. Fun idea, though.

Have u actually programmed the game or is this just a good idea for how you would like to see it.
Maybe we could get together online and discuss making this version if it hasn’t already been done,,I am an intermediate coder with plenty of time on my hands, so this would be a good challenge for me to try and do.
Please let me know what you think as i think it would be interesting to play and also very exciting to plan out the code for it too.

yeah i think ur idea is pretty awesome and all but i think the links are for really crappy sites. instead of making links to big companies i think you should have just done it to sites that are cool or have cool stuff. overall its pretty good though, and i think you should make it into and actual interactive game that people can play on the internet or download. keep it up.

Blogopoly was done 15 months ago and has had the attention of most of the major blogs. Plagiarism isn’t nice.
Thank you for showing me about this. But I am a newbie to “blogging culture” and I didnt know there was something about that. Sorry! I thought Boing Boing or most of the major blogs would tell me or I should know about it before I do the research. So bad that I didnt find it out earlier. :smiley09:

Blogpoly, the web’s new party game
While reading the blogs, I came across an interesting take on today’s popular blogging sites. It’s Blogpoly. There are a lot of great links there. Nice job littleoslo….
Love this idea. I’m going to use it as a way of introducing our teachers to the ideas related to blogging. Thanks so much for making this available.

Why in heaven there’s a box for Google?? Blogger is enough I think…
On the other hand, I think Yahoo! deserves the three boxes it’s got: Yahoo IM, Flickr and, well, yeah, the “Yahoo!” box. At least they’re doing a lot with feeds and RSS, unlike the big G.

You said, creating the code for the Board and links was as easy as writing poetry.
I am currious though, I’ve never used the png format for internet graphics. Also, I have forgoten most of my html learnings.
?? What program did you use to create the text/java script.
And more importantly, did you use the actual websites links as the different rectangles graphics ?
I too, had an idea for a web based (monopoly) style board, but based on completly different content and graphics.
Could you give me any pointers….
